Valeo is a small-group personal training gym built around individualized programming, custom strength and mobility plans, and a welcoming community. You’ll never spend time guessing what to do - each member gets a plan tailored to their body, goals, and lifestyle and gets coached on that plan 1-3 times per week. On top of coached sessions, you also get access to Open Gym (come in any time we're open to repeat your program on your own, or walk on the treadmill, etc) and our larger group BURN circuit-style classes, making it flexible for your schedule.
Valeo is a Latin word and means "have strength, have power, be effective." It is pronounced "Vuh-lay-oh," though however you say it is fine with us! :)
Small group personal training (also called Semi-Private Training) means each person gets an individualized workout plan and then is coached on that plan 1-3 times per week in a small group of others (no more than 5 total), each person doing their own plan. It's a powerful and effective blend of personal training and community. In addition to making individualized training more financially accessible, it also provides extra accountability, support and comradery toward goals.
Absolutely. Valeo is built to support people of all experience levels. No matter where you’re starting from - brand new to fitness, coming back after a break, or in the peak of your athletic years - the coaches will meet you where you are, adapt your plan, and help you progress safely and sustainably.
For sure! Our space is ADA compliant and designed to be accessible and navigable for members with mobility needs, assistive equipment, or physical accommodations.
We pride ourselves on our education and ability to safely coach people with all types of backgrounds or restrictions. We have worked with those living with osteoporosis, severe arthritis, limb differences, blindness, who are wheelchair-bound, are recovering from a stroke, and more.
We will get medical clearance when needed and work in partnership with many physical therapists and other professionals in our community in order to keep you safely moving forward. If we ever feel your training needs are beyond our scope of practice, we have many wonderful clinicians to refer you to.
When you come in for your coached sessions, you'll be handed an iPad that has your personalized program on it. You'll follow this same program for 4-6 weeks and then we'll write you a new program based off your progress and results. The goal is to progress you over time so you get stronger and more fit! Each program consists of a warm-up we call RAMP (Range of Motion, Activation, Movement Prep), Core, Power, Combination (ex - pushing while lunging), and Strength. We typically end sessions with a sprint called Metabolic Finishers to get your metabolism revved up and hormone system optimized.
Our typical coaching plan recommends 2–3 coached sessions per week that focus on strength and mobility, plus 1-2 BURN classes and/or Open Gym access (for extra work, light cardio, or flexibility work). We focus on quality, consistency, and long-term habits, not overtraining.
Yes! We know life can ebb and flow with different demands, so we bake Holds into your membership. Our policy is you get up to 60 days of Hold per year and when the Hold resumes, your plan and billing date get bumped out however long you were paused. The cost to do this is $30 per 30 days for general Holds (travel, busy, etc). If you must pause your membership for medical or bereavement reasons, there is no cost or time limit to this.
Membership includes a No-Sweat Game Plan consultation, movement assessment, a custom training program, small-group coaching, open gym access, larger group BURN classes, Nutrition discounts, and community support. Everything is designed to help you build strength, mobility, confidence, and sustainable habits.
Yes, we have 4 personal restrooms, each with a shower. Members have remarked we have the cleanest restrooms they've ever seen in a gym!
Check out our current membership rates HERE.
Though short term options are available, we typically ask our members to commit to a year as fitness is a lifelong pursuit and takes time! We know that's a big commitment, so we offer a 30-day “Love It or Leave It” guarantee. If after 30 days you don’t feel Valeo is the right fit, your most recent payment will be your last, and we can part as friends.
If it has been more than 30 days, you may contact us to discuss your cancellation needs and we can give you some helpful options.
